Halloween Duo

Two 4x8 canvases make up this Halloween duo using Character Constructions stamps, Carta Bella paper and more!

Class Fees:  Class fees are due at the time of enrollment.  You can pay by Paypal, OR check or cash in store.  

Class Kit:  You are responsible for basic class supplies.  If you are not sure what supplies you should always bring to class, just call the store and we will help you get those together.

There is something for everyone so call or come by to enroll in the class(s) of your choice.

We certainly had a great time Saturday during Demo Day.  Great tag Lisa!  And getting to use all that grungy Tim Holtz product - well, that was the cat's pajamas!  Gotta love all those new stencils!

All Occasion Basic Grey

September 5 & 6

A new program from Basic Grey we are trying.  You get a kit with complete directions and supplies for 8 greeting cards.  You will make these 4 cards in class.  The August kit was a hit, so we will be trying this kit and a few more in the coming months.

Come and go all day from 10 am to 4 pm.  Watch out tho, cuz I'll be doing the make-it-take-it in Lisa's place.  Lisa's daughter is being honored with a bridal shower smack dab in the middle of Demo Day.  Now I have been known to act like the Wicked Witch of the West, but I am just not that mean......  Lisa's class schedule will be on display as usual, complete with samples and you will be able to register for the classes you want to take.  If you're doing the shop hop, this is the last day to take advantage of the 15% discount and complete your passport for entry in the drawings.  Be sure you check out this shop hop blog post for details.

Now I'm tellin' you this is one of the cutest projects I've seen using one of Catherine Moore's Character Constructions stamps.  Bright and cheerful, yes indeedy my little pretty!  Perfect project for you paper doll fanatics.....

More New Stuff - August 10, 2012

More . New . Stuff

Yes, Kory....  more. new. stuff. you. need.  Two big boxes from Ranger arrived today.  Couldn't get to them cuz there were two other boxes I had to get into.

Here is a peek at what I uncovered inside them.

Halloween from Authentique.  6x6 paper pad and 8x12 sticker sheets.  It's about time.  Will be getting some 12x12 paper from this collection real soon.



 Antiquities embossing powders.  Not particularly new, but new colors in the house.  Chinese Red, Cobalt, Tanzanite, Christmas, California Stucco, Claret, Ocher (new spelling, I guess), Rust.  Love them *sigh*

More Halloween..... Lost and Found by My Mind's Eye.  Stamps.... brads..... 6x6 paper pad.  Caters to those who love black, kraft and white with a little soft orange thrown in.  Get it while you can!

There is more to come.  Should get to the Ranger boxes in the morning.  Lots of new product including Claudine Helmuth Studio clear stamps for Hallween and Christmas, Dylusions Stamps and Stencils for Christmas, Tim Holtz Rock Candy Glitter, and a few things I can't recall at the moment.

DEMO DAY FUN

DEMO DAY IS A BLAST!

If you were unable to attend our monthly Demo Day you really missed a lot of fun.....



Here's the Make-It-Take-It Lisa presented... It's clever..... a little gift envelope made out of a kraft document envelope.



Class Schedule for September will be here on Tuesday.... I hope you like the new format.



Class totes will be on display all week. You can vote til Saturday for your favorite. Planning to post pics tomorrow (If I'm able to get the pics shot) and you can vote here by leaving a comment. People's Choice winner gets a class gift certificate..... SWEET!


Halloween Tag Swap.... If you want to participate, drop by and pick up some tags. They're free. Usual swap rules apply..... 1) Follow the theme (Halloween or for those of you who don't do Halloween.... how 'bout Fall?) 2) Return them by September 11th so we can photo and swap them for you. 3) Pick them up on Demo Day, September 18, or after, and last but not least 4) Have Fun!

We've had so much interest that the people who took the class have been invited to display their totes.... They will be on display on Demo Day and you get to vote for the People's Choice Award. The winner will receive a Class Gift Certificate from Lisa...... If you like this idea, we'll do it again with other projects that encourage creativity.....

You've been reading and seeing all the new stuff coming on his blog..... We've got it ordered and it'll come in slow and steady..... stay tuned..... we'll let you know as it arrives. Most will ship in September so just hold onto your hats.... Patience is a virtue, you know.....
