November 2009 Class Schedule

CLASS SCHEDULE
This will be the last round of classes for the year. There are 2 Christmas card classes, one Christmas necklace, and an all occassion card class. There will be one more Demo Day that you won't want to miss (we'll have details on our annual after-Christmas Demo Day). If you haven't signed up yet, there are lots of places still available. If you can't get by to sign up, give us a call and we'll get you on the schedule. You can send a check in the mail.

Here's what we've got for you!

XMAS GO-ROUND - Nov 3, 5 & 6: Round cards created using the Justrite Stamper System we introduced at Demo Day. Two shaker cards are included.

TRADITIONAL XMAS - Nov 10, 12, & 13: Beautiful Christmas cards in traditional red and green colors.

DEMO DAY - NOVEMBER 21: Always FREE, Always FUN, Always a
MAKE-IT-TAKE-IT. This is the last traditional Demo Day of the year so you won't want to miss it.....

XMAS PAST NECKLACE - Nov 17 & 20: Really cool necklace using Tim Holtz products. Something so easy you'll want to make more for your friends.

ALL OCCASSION - Dec 1, 3 & 4: Beautiful cards using Magenta stamps. Perfect to give as a gift or keep for yourself.

Remember to bring your basic kits to class. If you are new to stamping, just let us know and we can help you get one together. Classes must be prepaid to hold your spot. If you find yourself unable to attend your class, refunds or credit are available when you give us notice 2 days in advance of class.

ALTERED RECIPE CARD SWAP!!! These are the recipe card file folders we are handing out for the current swap. You get 10 to alter and return. Theme is your favorite holiday recipe. October 2009 Classes

OCTOBER 2009 CLASSES

Get ready for some outstanding classes this year in October. It is so exciting to see what Lisa teaches each month and as usual, this month is no different. There is something for everyone.

Tim's Spooky Wall Hanging - Sunday Oct 4th: This really cute grungeboard project will make you smile! You get a pack of the Holiday Grungeboard with your class.

Christmas Pastels - Oct 6, 8 & 9th: You will make 5 fabulous Christmas cards using wonderful pastel papers from Cosmo Cricket's "Jolly by Golly" 6x6 paper pack. Not your traditional Christmas cards!

All About Fall - Oct 13 & 16th: Beautiful fall cards you'll be able to use for a variety of occasions.

Demo Day - Saturday, October 17th: Always FREE! Always a Make-it-Take-it. New class schedule debuts! Don't miss it. It's come and go from 10am to 4pm!

Tim's "3" Tags of Xmas - Oct 20 & 23: So many people have requested a class for Tim Holtz's 12 Tags of Christmas that it made the list. This class features 3 of them. You will learn some of Tim's more interesting techniques. You will need to provide your own Holiday Grungeboard for this class.

Blue Christmas Repeat - Oct 22 & 27: This class was such a hit for September that a huge waiting list was created. There are still spaces available so don't hesitate to jump in!

A Box and A Bell - Oct 29 & 30: You will create a box and a bell from new stamps we have picked up from Holly Berry House. These are elegant projects and you will want to make many more to use as decorations or gift boxes.

HERE'S WHAT'S NEW

LOCKHART STAMPS & INCHIE ARTS

I've had this post planned for a long time, but the stamps & supplies have never been in stock long enough to post. However, we have now built up quite a good inventory of them and I'm happy to be able to post the information.

As you know, the new craze is INCHIE ART. Some of the cutest inchie art stamps we've seen come from Lockhart Stamps and they have indeed been very popular here at My Heart's Fancy. Another great inchie company is Inchie Arts, a company which produces a variety of paper products just for inchie art projects. There are notecards, 1"x1" squares, collector pages, accordian books & background papers. We now have a great selection of products from both companies and if you haven't been here in a while, you ought to stop by to see what they have to offer. I'm sure you'll agree that the photo above doesn't do them justice. You just have to see them for yourself.

CHRISTMAS COOKIE RECIPE CARD SWAP!

That's right! We're sponsoring another great swap. Stop by Saturday to pick up your package of 10 recipe cards to be altered. The cards are really cute mini file folders sized to fit right in your 4x6 recipe boxes. The rules are simple..... let your imagination run wild as you decorate the cards. Be sure to include your favorite Christmas cookie or bar cookie recipe and have a good time altering the card. Return them by Saturday, October 10th. We'll sort them, photo if possible for a web album, and return 10 different recipe cards to you on October's Demo Day which is the 17th! I don't know about you, but I'd sure like some new cookie recipes to try this holiday season!

DEMO DAY

Yup, it's Saturday. Lisa has a really stunning fall card for you to make. As always, the make-it-take-it is free, the class schedule for October will be ready and we will have new product on the shelves by then as well. It's always fun so don't miss it!!!!!

Class Schedule for September 2009

September Classes are filled with fun and exciting Halloween cards and projects. There is a really beautiful Christmas card class included as well. Remember that prepayment holds your place in class and classes may fill quickly. If you can't drop by to sign up in person, give us a call and we'll hold your place for 48 hours. Send Lisa a check in the mail, or come by at a more convenient time within the next 2 days.

Here's what 's on tap for September:

CLASSY HALLOWEEN - Sept 1, 3 & 4th: You will make 5 "classy" Halloween cards that will really impress you. They look hard, but are really easy.

INCHIE GIFT SET - Sept 8, 10, & 11: Inchies are the rage..... you'll make 5 mini cards and a portfolio. Wonderful, quick and easy. Perfect for a gift.

HALLOWEEN WALL HANGING - Sept 15 & 18: Stunning piece of artwork. You know Lisa always offers you great projects and who knows, maybe it'll get published!

DEMO DAY - Saturday, Sept 19: ALWAYS FREE, ALWAYS FUN, ALWAYS A MAKE-IT-TAKE-IT... 10 to 4 - Come and Go. New Class Schedule and lots of new merchandise make this a hit evey month! Don't miss it!

FUNNY HALLOWEEN - Sept 22, 24 & 25: Fun and Sweet. Cute but not cutesy... Fairly traditional. Good cards for friends and kids alike.

BLUE CHRISTMAS - Sept 29, Oct 1 & 2: It's never to early to start your Christmas cards and you will love this take on the theme. Lovely blue cards that just smack of winter and the season. Peaceful and different.

Remember to bring your class kit. It includes basic paper crafting tools. If you don't know what to include, give us a call and we'll help you get it together. Most items can be purchased at My Heart's Fancy, but many of the supplies you will have on hand.
