Attention CHRISTY TOMLINSON Fans!  Christy's new paper collection for Pink Paislee is here and oh so sweet!  Her new 6x6 Paper Packs and 12x12 Paper, Doily Stencil & Rub-ons arrived Friday.  Rub-ons sold out before 3pm.  Sorry, we didn't even get all we ordered!  We have reordered and hope to get them back in quickly.  ALSO, we got our reorder of stamps by Unity and there are some background stamps we didn't get the first time around.  LOVE THEM!

New Prima!  The new collections are shipping out and we ordered the embellishments from Prima....  Can't show them all here, but you can see that we ordered the cutest little trinket charms, wooden buttons, eensy teensy art tiles & wooden tickets in most of the new collections.  You are just gonna love them.

Attention DONNA DOWNEY fans!....  Donna designed a line of products for Prima this year... It didn't all come in, but you will love what did.....  Beautiful silk flowers in 3 sizes, canvas pennants (did you see what she did with them in her  Inspiration Wednesday Art Journal?). The pennants come in 2 patterns (blank & text) and 2 sizes (large and mini).  There are 3 foam stamps (great for gelato work!).....  We got one set of her fab poppy cabochons in red.  There are something like 5 or 6 other colors and I can't wait for the other colors to arrive!

Long awaited and so excited..... 20 new Gelato colors!  Packed 4 colors in 5 new sets.....  yellow, green, blue, red & a new neutral set....  Oh, be still my beating heart!

The House is getting so full of wonderful, fun art supplies!  We have so much more coming.  Winter CHA packs a punch and we all have so much fun when the goodies start shipping.   I was notified this week that new Tim Holtz dies shipped and the new Tim Holtz Idealogy goodies too!  I'll let you know when they get here.....

Prima Scheduled to Arrive Friday

PRIMA  SHIPMENT

Just checked the UPS website to track the order carrying all the new Prima goodies I ordered and it is scheduled to arrive by end of day on Friday.  There are lots of really cool trinket charms, art tiles, & some of Donna Downey's new items.  With any luck I'll have it all priced and out on the shelf by the time I head home tomorrow.  At least it'll be priced and set out somewhere you can see it all by then.....I should have some photos posted by Saturday noon.

CLASS  SNEAK  LEAK

Lisa informed me today that she is working on a class that is really different....  something she has been thinking about for quite a while.  I've seen just a piece or two of it and if I say so myself, it is going to be fun and interesting.  Needless to say, if you think you might be interested in something different......  start collecting your junque mail.  Really.... your junque mail.... & paper stuff you would throw away.  Oh, and you might be looking through those magazines you are getting ready to throw away cuz you might want to be tearing out some of those cool graphics and photos you like but don't quite know what to do with.  I'm just saying.... think fun, think artsy, and get ready to see your junque mail in a whole new way!

DISTRESS MARKERS

BIG  NEWS!

DISTRESS  MARKERS ARE HERE

DYLUSIONS TEMPLATES  &

NEW DYLUSIONS STAMP SETS TOO!

I'm a little scared to post this cuz I'm sure a lot of people will be sad that they didn't get them.....  We got a limited number of Tim Holtz Distress markers and marker sets.  Lisa and I won't get any cuz the Customer Always Comes First!  LOL  Really, we take a back seat when things are this popular.  We already have them reordered, but Ranger says they are so sold out that they will only be able to ship limited numbers of orders every 10 days or so so we hope our reorder isn't too far back in line.

Some of you know how much I enjoy Dyan Reaveley's work.  It's is so lively and bright.  I am in awe that she can put out so much artwork and run a fantastic art shop and internet business called Art From the Heart.  You can visit her blog here.  So when I found out she had designed templates for art I was thrilled!  They are made by Crafter's Workshop for Ranger and they are a high quality product. 

And to make it even more exciting for me..... we finally are able to get the entire line of Dylusions stamp sets.  I think Dyan's stamp designs are so much fun.  I can't wait to get my hands on a few of these and start art journaling with them!  And just so you can get a feel for fun ways to use Dyan's stencils and stamps..... watch this video (if you receive the post by email, you will have to go to the blog to see the video.... sorry, I just found out that videos don't travel with the emails)

And just in case you're wondering....  we do have the Dylusions spray inks on order and hope to have them in the next 30 days.  In the mean time, Ranger's Color Washes substitute quite nicely!

Christy & Donna's Stamps

ARE  HERE!

Oh Yes!  The new Donna Downey and Christy Tomlinson stamps by Unity Stamp Company have arrived.  After getting them out I have one thing to say.... WOWZA!  These stamps are so cool!

I am so happy to see these stamps.  Of course you know that I have been having a lot of fun with Christy's She-Art canvases and I love Donna's dreamy way of using stamps.  I can already tell that I have not ordered enough of these stamps.....  they are going to fly out the door in no time and I'm pretty sure I'll have to wait for mine.  Have no fear, I have already placed a back-up order so get on over here and get 'em if you can.... LOL....  Just kidding, but seriously, you will not be able to contain your joy when you see them....  AND I promise to leave no one out...  I'll order every day if I have to!

A Fine Make-It-Take-It

We had a really fun day today.  Our Demo Day is a monthly treat for Lisa and me.  Lisa creates a really great Make-It-Take-It and there is usually a whole lot of new merchandise for you to see.  Here's a picture of the Make-it-Take-it Lisa created for us today.....

Today we featured PanPastels and one of our Crafter's Workshop templates.  We've been so inspired ever since Donna Downey taught her PanPastel Heart Canvas.  Lisa has been playing with PanPastel techniques and she taught us a really fun one today.  First you stamp your favorite image in a watermark ink or embossing ink (we used a really large swirl stamp from Hero Arts).  Then you gently apply PanPastels any way you like.  Add a few "background" stamps (we used Tim Holtz's new Mixed Media stamp set on the yellow & brown tag) OR take a stencil/template and apply more PanPastel (we used the Crafter's Workshop Punchinella template on  the turquoise/purple/magenta tag).  After using a workable fixative spray you add a saying and emboss it in black.  (We used one of the sayings from Tim Holtz's new "Words for Thought" set on the yellow/brown tag and one of the sayings from one of Wendy Vecchi's new Studio 490 sets).  Finish with a clear sealer to set the pastels.   It was so much fun to see all the different ways our artists applied the PanPastels.  If you couldn't make it by today, drop by and I'll show how it's done.  It's really a fun technique.
