We really had a great Demo Day Saturday.  We saw some "old" (as in long time) friends we don't see often and we met some new ones.  Old and New are a great combo.  And it keeps me smiling!

Anyhoo.....  with Joanne Sharpe coming to teach this Friday through Sunday, I've got to get the next class schedule posted. And if you didn't know about Joanne's great workshops, check out the July 31st post.  Just in case you are interested, there are a few spots left in the Saturday and Sunday morning classes so be sure to let me know pronto if you want to enroll.

Create these 5 fall cards using a variety of techniques.  Beautiful colors!  Simple, but elegant.

EEK!  ALTERED BOOK - $30

Sunday, October 5th - 2 pm to 5 pm

Create a creepy 3D Halloween treasure out of an old book!  Lots of techniques and lots of fun.  After you've done this one, you'll be creating them for all your holidays (only they won't be creepy).....

It's time to get started on those Christmas cards.  These beauties are fun and creative.  Lots of different styles to spark your card-making juices!

Configuration boxes make the most wonderful altered art.  Let Lisa teach you how to make this vintage inspired box using dies, glitter, embellishments and paper.  You can even use one of your own vintage family photos in place of the one you see in the photo above.  Lots of fun in this project!

The 3rd Saturday of the month is our FREE Demo Day and you are treated to a FREE Make-It-Take-It, the class schedule for the following month, and usually a plethora of new product to browse.  All this for FREE!  Bring a friend and share the excitement.

GOBBLE GOBBLE CANVAS - $35

We have had overwhelming requests for Lisa to teach the turkey canvas I created from leftover fall papers I couldn't bear to throw away.  Lisa's recreation with fresh and exciting BoBunny papers is outstanding.  If you've have been wanting to learn how to do paper piece collaging, this is the project for you.  It's so simple - really, it is!

MONOPRINT JOURNALING - $55

You've been hearing about the Gelli Arts Gel Printing Plate for some time now.  It's the perfect tool for mono-printing without the mess or expense of traditional mono-printing.  Kelley is our resident expert and she returns to teach you how to make this sweet journal from Gel monoprints you will make in class.  You will need a Gelli Arts Plate, but if you want to try it before you buy it, Kelley has a few to share.

Learn how to make this beautiful "charm" bracelet using Tim Holtz fragment charms and a 12x12 piece of Vintage Santa scrapbook paper from Kaisercraft.  It's so easy you'll want to make one for every holiday and one for all your friends too!

Wonderful classes!  Something for everyone I say!   Remember class fees are due at the time of enrollment.  Refunds or class credit available for cancellations received 2 full  business days before the class is scheduled.  Basic class kits are required (call if you are new to our classes and we will help you with the list of supplies needed). Lisa will email you the week of class with a list of any other items you need or might wish to bring.

We had a blast Saturday.  After a quiet start, the fun kicked in.  Lisa's Make-It-Take-It was the cutest little Easter box made from the new Tim Holtz mini matchbox die and a sweet bunny die from Impression Obsession.  Forgot to take a picture.  I'll try to post one to Facebook on Tuesday.  She released a wonderful class schedule for April too.....  and here it is!

Watercolor Cards

Lisa learned how to make a tiny book from Tracy Moore.  She thought you'd enjoy learning how to make it from a Jumbo box of playing cards.  Really fun way to learn a simple form of bookbinding that you'll want to use over and over again!  Perfect for notes or to use as a mini art journal.....

Altered Vintage Frame

April 24 & 25

Cute new frame from Prima.....  chipboard letters, "found relatives" and a pocket watch (all from Tim Holtz)....  voila'!  Bring your own picture if Tim's found relatives don't float your boat.  Very fun!

Join us for one or two of these fun classes - aw heck!  take 'em all!  

Paid class fees (required) saves your seat in the class(es) of your choice.  Basic supply kit required and should include pencil, ruler, scissors, sponge, tweezers, exacto knife, small cutting mat, 2 way tape or glue, heat gun, embossing pad, black ink pad, bone folder, non-stick craft mat and anything you can't craft without.

Demo Day was such a fun day.  I know I say that every month and it is true...  We always enjoy the day.  We get to see lots of friends, have lots of laughs and even make a few new friends.   AND Lisa always has a new class schedule for the next month.  Here's what she has for you in February!
