August 2021
Class Schedule
What an exciting weekend we had! On Thursday evening Lisa learned that her daughter, Lauren, would be delivering her first baby on Friday (much earlier than expected). So our good friends Cherri & Adona gathered together with me to help Lisa have as much time off as she needed to help Lauren and her husband welcome little Dani Rae into this world. There is more to the story, but it isn't mine to tell. Lisa will share later, but it is truly a work of God and all is well. I hope everyone had as much fun as we did. And here is the adorable birthday card everyone who came enjoyed making for FREE!
We used 2 stamp sets and a coordinating die set from Catherine Pooler. We also used Vintage Photo Oxide ink & the new Tim Holtz Salvaged Patina oxide ink to stamp the words and daschound. I have a few of the stamp sets left and also the background paper if you want to grab a set.
Lisa had most of her class schedule ready. The last class for August has 2 more cards coming and I'll post the picture as soon as they are ready. She has the stamps and knows what she is doing, but didn't have the time to put them together before Dani Rae made her entrance.
So here's the August schedule!

We are planning to go back to the regular Art Journal Saturday program in September so here is the last "class" version Lisa will be offering. You need NO experience - only the willingness to play and experiment!

It's time to bring out the alcohol inks again! So many new ideas using alcohol inks have come to the surface and Lisa has created some fabulous cards using a variety of techniques and surfaces. You'll have a new skill to add to your playbook for creating cards.

It's time to start making those Halloween cards for friends and family. Here's a set of cards with wiggly features. Fun for all and not a bit creepy!
Preview Day - FREE
Saturday, August 21
10 am to 4 pm
Come & Go
Every month we spend the day treating everyone who visits to a FREE Make 'n Take and the opportunity to view and enroll in the classes for the next month. Grab a friend and share the experience. It's fun and as I said FREE!
Any Occasion - $30
Thursday, August 26
10:30 am OR 6 pm
Lisa's newest granddaughter Dani Rae interrupted the creation of this last class. We are excited about Dani Rae so, of course, all is forgiven, right?? RIGHT! Anywho..... 2 of the cards are ready but there are 2 more ready to be created. Lisa already knows what they will be, but it may be a week before we have them to show. I'll post this class as soon as the samples are ready. Trust me, it will be a great class and you can see the 2 cards that are ready if you come by to enroll.
That's the August Schedule and here are a few more things you will want to know!
