March 2021 Class Schedule
We had a great time Saturday during Preview Day. It was such a treat to see so many good friends, make some new ones, and visit with everyone. The Take 'n Make Kit to Go was a big hit and we handed all of them out. I am hoping now that so many have had their vaccines we'll be able to go back to our traditional Make 'n Takes very soon. Anyhoo..... here is the really cute card that was supplied for us by Impression Obsession. I still have a few stamps left and will be ordering more of the die for the boots if anyone asks.
It really was a hit. And I am really really glad we figured out how to offer our FREE Make 'n Take during the pandemic.Lisa has a great class schedule for this month. I am including this week's class although by the time you read this it will be too late to enroll. I did post it on Facebook last week as well as send out a special email about it so I hope you saw it there if you wanted to take this class.
Here's the schedule!
Hello Spring!
$30
Thursday, March 4
10:30 am OR 6 pm
Spring is in the air! Yes.... after all this snow, you know it is right around the corner. Echo Park has a new paper collection simply called "Spring" and Lisa came up with these adorable cards using some of her scraps and the 6x6 paper pad. The actual card is tucked inside the pocket of an A2 sized piece of card stock. These cards are so easy to make and you'll want to make lots of them when you realize how quickly they can be made.
Easter Greetings
$30
Thursday, March 11 - 10:30 am OR 6 pm
Friday, March 12 - 10:30 am
Easter snuck up on us this month... and this class was so popular on Preview Day that we had to add a Friday morning class! Stamps and papers were slow to arrive, but Lisa has created some wonderful cards using rubber stamps from Impression Obsession and a set of clear stamps from Echo Park. Impression Obsession has created the best "layering" slimline stamps and Lisa knows just how to do it! Two cards have creative cut outs and I know you'll love making these.
Blooming Stencils
$30
Thursday, March 18 - 10:30 am OR 6 pm
Friday, March 19 - 10:30 am
This card class was also so popular on Preview Day that we had to add a Friday morning class! Don't miss out on this class. This is a very new technique brought to us by PinkFresh. I learned how to make the tall white card with the wreath and hello on it in a retailers trade show. After teaching it to Lisa, she went to town using additional PinkFresh products. This class uses STENCILS to create the multi-colored images. That's right....stencils! And there are matching dies for quite a few of them that are easy to line up. You will definately want to learn how to make these cards.....
Preview Day
Saturday, March 20
10 am to 4 pm
Come & Go
FREE Take 'n Make Kit to Go
This is probably our most favorite day of the month. Grab a friend and come join in the fun. The class schedule for April will be on display and ready for enrollment. We will have new products for you to browse and we offer a FREE Take 'n Make Kit to Go. You don't have to sign up, just come and stay as long as you like. It's more fun than a barrel of monkeys!
Birthday Card Organizer
$38
Tuesday, March 23
10:30 am OR 6 pm
Here's something everyone can use! It makes a great gift for a friend, mother, sister, or just about anyone. You'll make a book with pockets for cards and a place to list birthdays by name and date (you could add anniversaries or other special occasions too). With the size of the rings you'll be able to put lots of cards in the pockets and then you'll be ready for all your special card occasions. Paper collection used is by Simple Stories.
Art Journal Play
$30
Saturday, March 27
9 am OR 1:30 pm
Lisa was on a roll when she created last month's Art Journal Play and had this one partially finished. Here is a spread for one page or two. You decide, but either way you can't lose. And this one is so easy to make your very own. Watercolor squares for the collage background and stencils for the focal image. Add a few phrase stickers and voila'! you have a fun art piece that could be done again on canvas......
