November 2013

Class Schedule

Demo Day was a blast and the Make-It-Take-It was so quick there was almost no waiting.  Our good friend, Terri, the Sizzix rep manned the Demo Bar.  Everyone loved her and she had a great time.....  so THANKS! for making her feel so welcome AND a big Thank You to Terri for helping us out this month!

Lisa got to hang out at her sign-up table for the first time ever.  I think she had a good time and I know that everyone learned a great deal about the classes to come.  And now it's time to reveal the November schedule.....

This elegant decoration for Christmas uses Anna Griffin paper, various lace & ribbon trims and glitter and is filled with sweet Christmas things.  AND it's easier to make than it looks.  This class will fill fast, so don't dawdle around.

Picture does not do justice to this class.   AND (how many times can I use the word AND??) - this class was so popular on Demo Day that Lisa had to add an additional date to the schedule.  You will need to provide the frame (10x20 shadow box available at Michael's) but, if you don't want to use a frame, you can just make the tags to use for another project.

Lovely classes....  something for everyone.  Call or drop by to sign up for one or all.  Payment of class fees guarantees your spot in class.

Are You Ready?

Ready for Winter?  Ready to burrow down and create art?  READY for DEMO DAY?????

Yup.... Demo Day is Saturday!  Can't wait for all the fun and laughter.  Our good friend and Sizzix rep, Terri Musser will be here to show you some new things and help you make a sweet card using one of their new dies.

Lisa will be here showing her display of new classes for November.  She is known for her quirky, grungy, trend-setting classes and there is always something for everyone.

Halloween Tag Swaps will be ready to pick up!  Oh, so many wonderful tags were created.  Here's a little sneak peek......  

Pictures will be posted on Facebook tomorrow...  there are a few that didn't get photo'd with this bunch.

Gelatos

Gelatos

 Faber Castell has been around the block a few times and they know how to make a great product.  Enter Gelatos.... a watercolor crayon in a chapstick style container.  So perfect for travel and so easy to use.  We started carrying them a little over a year ago and get a lot of questions about how to use them.  Really, if you have used watercolor crayons, you know how to use Gelatos. 

Recently I visited the Faber Castell "design- memory - craft" blog and found this wonderful video using their new Gelatos kit.  Check it out!
