Class Schedule
Just a few more classes to finish out the year. Lisa has created some really lovely Christmas classes and you will really get in the spirit of the season when you come to class.....
Tim's Tags - Dec 2, 3 & 7
Back by popular demand, always a treat..... 4 tags using the latest Tim Holtz products and ideas!
You will really enjoy this project made using the 7 gypsies ATC Display Box and papers from the Teresa Collins line. This would make a wonderful gift for family or friend!
CHRISTMAS SAMPLER - Dec 9 & 10
We always have samples on display to give you ideas about how you could use a stamp, product or paper. Someone always says "Which class is that?" So here is the latest class using the samples that were on display in November.
FRAGMENT XMAS BRACELET - Dec 12
You'll want to make this bracelet even if you made last years version. Always fun and much easier than it looks, this bracelet uses Tim Holtz' link chain and fragment charms. This technique works equally well to make a necklace as well!
Hero Preview Party! - December 18th
This is the last event we will have this year before we move into the new store. This a long time tradition for us and we always have a great time. We will send out more information by email and postcard in a week or two. Can't wait for this fun party.....
That's it for now..... Until next post..... Happy Stampin'

AND SO IT GOES......Lots of gift merchandise is going out the door, but there are still lots of wonderful buys waiting for you. If you haven't been by yet, we have a couple of tubs of stampin' stuff marked down 50% or more. We are really getting excited about the NEW My Heart's Fancy to come! We've been looking at lots of new products and thinking about the new flexible classroom. We signed the lease and have the keys so we can get started with the preparations ASAP.....
DEMO DAY..... Demo Day is Saturday the 20th. There are lots of things going on around the city that day so we hope you can make it by for the fun. Lisa has been working on ways to speed up the Make-It-Take-It so you won't have to wait so long. She has also been working on a few classes for the first 2 weeks of December for those of you who just can't get enough.
CHRISTMAS TAG SWAP..... Deadline is Demo Day. The plan is to have them photo'd and sorted so you can pick them up the day after Thanksgiving. However, American Express is helping small business like ours by bringing you Small Biz Saturday and we hope to have a very great special just for you if you pick up your swaps on the Saturday after Thanksgiving......

Big News
By now most of you on the email list have read our big announcement. But if you haven't, then Lisa and I want you to know that we are taking the big plunge and My Heart's Fancy will become a Rubber Stamp and Art Supply store in January! We're very excited to be giving our complete and entire attention to the world of stamping and paper crafting.
NEW LOCATION
And we're also excited to announce that we will be moving into a new location as well. We hope to be in the new location and open by the second week of January. After an exhaustive search we settled on a new shopping center at 164th and Penn called Fenwick Plaza. It's new and there is plenty of parking. We will have a more usable classroom space and we hope to be able to accomodate just a few extra people with ease. We hope you will enjoy it and we look forward to providing you with even more fun things to do as well as provide you with a more comprehensive selection of art supplies. We will post more about the new store as details are available.
BIG SALE
A move and change of focus means that we have a lot of gift merchandise to move. Beginning Tuesday, November 2 all gift merchandise (with a few exceptions) will be 40% off. We have to get it out before Christmas so be sure to take advantage of this great opportunity to nab some great Christmas presents for friends, neighbors and family!
CHRISTMAS TAG SWAP
Although we didn't have time to get the packets ready for Demo Day, they are ready for pick-up now. We will be closed Friday and Saturday to prepare for the sale, but if you'll give us a call we'll meet you at the door with a packet. Tags are due back by November 20th which is Demo Day and we'll have them swapped, photo'd and ready to return to you by the day after Thanksgiving, November 26 (going by memory, didn't consult the calendar).....
That's it for now..... Until next post..... Happy Stampin'!

2010 Oklahoma State Fair
Yup... I did. Well, I had a purpose.... I entered photos in the photo exhibit and wanted to see if I won any ribbons (did, but that's an entirely different story). My very cool husband, Jeff, went with me. We had Frozen Bananas, Fried Okra and a Wine-A-Rita (mix available at our store). After alcohol, he was pretty much putty in my hands so I talked him into visiting the hobby & craft exhibits to see if any of our fab customers had won any ribbons.....
AND Yes they did! So I'm going to crow about it..... Cock-A-Doodle-Do! In the Stamping & Scrapbooking category (only one I checked) our good friends, Kay McKinnis, Debbie Musick, Sue Bowers, & Debra Zink won a variety of ribbons. Debbie won the most (I quit counting after 5) with a multitude of 1st Place Blues & 2nd Place Reds. She entered a halloween tag made in one of Lisa's class and it won a 2nd Place Red..... she won numerous ribbons in the scrapbooking catagory with a variety of very clever books and shadow boxes. Kay McKinnis won ribbons for scrapbook pages, altered can top, and a very lovely stamped greeting card. Sue Bowers won a ribbon for a beautifully tole painted scrapbook cover (she is a fabulous tole painter) and Debra Zink had a 1st place blue ribbon winning Altered Birdfeeder decorated with stamping, embelishments and scrapbook papers. Oh, and I must also tell you that her mother, Eileen Sullivan, (who is also one of our favorite shoppers) won a 1st Place ribbon for photography in the Scenic catagory! Way to Go People!
After so much excitement I promptly went home and collapsed on the couch.....
That's it for now..... Until next post..... Happy Stampin!

September 2010 Classes
September 9 & 10

Canvas Tote Class
Everyone who took the Canvas Tote Class created something entirely different. Everyone decided Lisa had done such a good job teaching that they could do it without her (Sorry, Lisa..... but it IS a compliment!). They were entirely jazzed to do it at home. Everyone wanted to see how everyone else's turned out. Someone suggested an exhibit. Someone thought it would be fun to find out which one was the favorite. And so........
Canvas Totes are on Display! You get to vote for the People's Choice Award and the winner gets a gift certificate from Lisa for a class.
You can vote one of two ways...... either in store where you can see the totes up close and personal OR you can vote here on the blog. You have until Saturday to cast your vote. If you want to vote here, just leave your choice in the comment section. Please vote only once.
OK...... let the voting begin (oh, I forgot, voting started Demo Day)....... (drum roll.......)
BTW...... Participant #9.... I owe you an apology. The photo is terrible. Your tote is way cooler than the photo makes it look..... time allowing, I'll reshoot Tuesday and post a picture that is IN focus.....
