October Demo Day

SATURDAY IS DEMO DAY

Yup, it's here again, yes indeedy! Demo Day......a day we all love to enjoy. We've got a few new things on tap we want to let you know about so here goes......

InkaDinkaDo Buy 2 Get 1 Free........The new selection is here. There is a little how-to idea brochure that is free with purchase. The brochures are limited in number so please do not take one if you don't buy any of the stamps.....DO feel free to take any of the older brochures from past "buy 2 get 1 free" programs that are left over. As you can see from the picture, there are a few of the Halloween stamps left over so these are Buy 1 Get 1 Free on Demo Day only.

Demo Day Special.......Remember last month's Clear Mini Stamp special? We have just received a Christmas selection of these same stamps. On Demo Day only we will be offering these mini clear sets as a Buy 2 Get 1 Free. At $1.99 each they are already a bargain and they won't last long.

Halloween Swap......If you participated in the Halloween Swap, remember to pick up your bag of swaps. For those of you who did not participate, you can view the web album by clicking on this link......Halloween Swap.....and you can see pictures of all the altered jumbo playing cards that were created. Believe me when I say...."WoW!"

Christmas Tag Swap......Many of you who were unable to participate in the Halloween Swap have expressed an interest in a Christmas Tag Swap. If you are interested, pick up a packet at Demo Day which will include 10 tags and instructions. Your altered tags will be due on November 8th and will be returned to you on the 15th (November Demo Day). This will give you 3 weeks to create your fabulous works of Christmas art to share. Swaps have been popular here and we're happy to host them as long as everyone is interested.

Memento Ink Pads
We had a request from one of our favorite customers, Barb H, who uses Copic markers for a variety of projects. She loves them, but has found that there are very few ink pads that don't smear when she uses the markers. She searched around until she found just the right pad - Memento by Tsukineko. If you use Copics, this is the ink pad for you. We ordered Black and Brown for her and have stocked a few extras for those of you out there who are interested. If you want other colors, let us know....we can get them too.

Artgirlz Witch Kits
We still have a few black or lime green witch kits available. These are the cutest kits you've ever seen. They were an incredible hit last year and so far this year have been highly sought after as well. We also have an Elf kit available. Everything you need but the needle and thread is included.

New 12 x 12 Papers
We just got a new batch of beautiful 12 x 12 Christmas papers. These papers have just a bit of sparkly glitter and will be great used in collages or as backgrounds in a project or card.

Miracle Tape
For those of you who have enjoyed Increditape in the past, we now have a new, more dependable supplier. Their product is known as Miracle Tape and is a better value for money. You get about 33% more transfer tape for the same price. It is available in 4 widths, a small sheet and the cutter holder is back. This is a must have basic kit item and you won't want to live without it.

Halloween Swap
Don't forget to turn in your Halloween Swap by 5pm on Saturday. If you just can't get them here by Saturday, give me a call and we'll see what we can work out. I may have an alternate solution, but I need time to get them photographed so we can put them on a web album for everyone to see. We posted web albums with the Valentine Tag Swap and the Summer ATC Swap so everyone could see what they didn't get in their packs. It's always fun to see other people's work!

Cute Halloween Project

Halloween is in the Air!



Our friend Susie Watkins dropped by with a little show and tell. This is just the cutest variation of a box Lisa did a couple of years ago. Susie said she had thought about painting the box, but didn't. I think it looks great just the way it is. Lisa said she'd never thought of using "squares" of printed paper, but now she's got a whole new perspective. I love it when people share.......



Speaking of sharing......don't forget to turn in your Halloween Swaps by Saturday. We've already received a couple of really creative ones. If you haven't gotten a packet, come by and pick up one....there's still plenty of time to get one done! Remember, the only restriction is that you use the provided cards and use a Halloween theme. We want you to have fun and the name of the game here is sharing.....



If you are still interested in one of Lisa's classes, give us a call. There are still openings in some of them. The Bird Tag Shadow Box class is full, BUT there still seems to be a few who missed getting in so Lisa is taking names for an additional class. Call if you want to take this class and she'll throw it on the next schedule. This project makes a fabulous gift and several people have taken it more than one time for just this reason.

TOUCH OF NATURE: Oct 14, 16, & 17th A group of 5 beautiful general occasion cards that you could even use for a gift.

DEMO DAY: Saturday, Oct 19th Always FREE and always a Make-It-Take-It!

CHRISTMAS THE HERO ARTS WAY: Oct 23 & 24th You will learn how to use Hero's new 12" clear stamps to create a beautiful set of Christmas cards.

MORE FALL FUN: Oct 30th A fabulous set of cards using beautiful fall papers and stamps.

Remember to bring your basic class kit to every class. If you need a list of basic supplies, give us a call. Lisa emails a list of additional supplies that are helpful to bring with you so be sure we have your email address when you sign up for class. You must pay for class when you sign up in order to hold your seat. If you sign up by phone, you can mail a check or money order to Lisa in care of the store. What's New!

Demo Day and the Latest at My Heart's Fancy


My how time flies when you're having a good time and a good time is what we've been having here around My Heart's Fancy. Lisa's classes have been more popular than ever and we can hardly keep up with all the requests for new stamps and products. Lisa just returned from a special "Make-It-Take-It" and shopping extravaganza for stamp/scrapbook stores given by one of our "Reps of the Trade". She got some good ideas and saw some new stuff we hope to get in the near future.

DEMO DAY
Demo Day is Saturday so be prepared for another rip-roarin fabulous class schedule. As you know, Lisa is vey talented and creative and always has a great line-up of classes for you to choose. Remember you must pay for your classes when you sign up to guarantee your seat is saved.


Demo Day Special!
We just received a really cute assortment of mini Halloween and Thanksgiving clear sets. They are priced at just $2 each and on Demo Day you will get 1 set free if you purchase 2 sets. There is also a special priced group of ink pads for $1 each in an assortment of fall colors and they are just perfect for travel.

Halloween Swap!
That's right, we're sponsoring another swap. A couple of years ago I found Jumbo Playing cards on the $1 spot at Target. I bought 20 decks, but can only find one. Some time ago we decided we'd use those for an altered card swap, but I can only find 1 deck. Don't worry, we'll get cards ready for you anyway and we'll have the best Halloween swap ever! The rules are: Alter 10, bring them to us and we'll swap them with altered cards from 10 other people! It's always fun. Pick up your packet Saturday at the Demo. You have until Saturday, October 11 to get them altered. We'll make the swaps and return them to you on Demo Day, October 18! The only requirement is that you use a Halloween Theme.

It's not too early to buy Class Gift Certificates. They are sold in $10 increments and make a wonderful Christmas or Birthday gift for your rubber stamp loving friends!

WHAT'S NEW

What's new you say? Just call me Rip Van Winkle! But, we're back now.......and here's what's new:


Holiday Collections Are Arriving!


The first Penny Black, Hero and Inkadinkado Fall and Christmas images have come in and will be on the shelves Thursday. Oh my gosh! You are just gonna love these collections.

Halloween 12x12 papers are now in stock.

We got the new Memory Box catalog supplement Saturday. You're gonna love the new 6x6 paper packs. Lisa gave them a call this morning and they are shipping them out so we can have them in time for Demo Day on Saturday.

ATC Swap Update
As I mentioned last time, I failed to get my ATC done for the swap and as punishment I have to make 50. The 1st 13 go to the participants and the rest are up for grabs. They will be available Saturday at the Demo.

Demo Day
Yup, it's Saturday. Lisa's class schedule will be available and you can sign up on the spot. As always, there is a FREE Make-It-Take-It. We hope to see you there!
