April 2025
Class Schedule

The April schedule is here! Lisa has some really great options for you next month.  Saturday brought lots of fun and laughter along with the reveal of the April class scheduleOur FREE Make n' take featured this card which included a sweet border stamp from Catherine Pooler and die cut eggs using a die that is also from Catherine Pooler.

Such a fun card and perfect for just about any spring occasion!

Here's the schedule for April.....

Easter/Spring is Here - $35
Thursday, April 3
10:30 am OR 6 pm

Oh my!  Have you seen cuter bunnies?  These are ArtFoamies and we will have a third one available should you prefer to use a different one.  The boots, tulip & postage stamps are from Penny Black.  You'll sharpen your watercoloring skills on these fabulous all occasion cards that can be used for Easter if you wish.  Too cute!

Flutter Bye - $35
Thursday, April 10
10:30 am OR 6 pm

Who doesn't love butterflies?  I know, not everyone..... but I only know a few who don't.  If you love butterflies, this class is for you.  The stamps from Altenew, Indigo Blue and Hero Arts coupled with new stencils and embossing folders make these cards a stunning set.  These are also great for any occasion but the moth card in black, white and gold could certainly be used for a sympathy card if needed.

Art Foam Goddesses - $35
Thursday, April 17
10:30 am OR 6 pm

The new ArtFoamies Goddess foamies from the Fodder School collection by Leaca Young are so serene.  When Lisa saw them she knew immediately what she wanted to do!  Two of these cards are created using a paper by Simple Stories that is a sheet of vintage tags.  Lisa has cut two that are side by side to make a creative folded card with a pocket inside where you can tuck a gift card and some ephemera.  The other two also feature a few of the tags from the paper in a more traditional way.  Such a fun way to create!

Handmade Art Journal - $45
Thursday, April 24
10:30 am OR 6 pm

I can't wait to take this class!  Seriously, I have become very fond of creating in small journals and this 5"x7" is just the ticket.  Not too many pages, not too small..... just right!  The cover will be prepped for you which will save time so you can get right down to the serious artwork for the cover.  You'll create on the inside and outside and when you are done, you'll use a pamphlet stitch with waxed linen cord to attach 2 signatures of mixed papers.  This will be so much fun to work in!

Art Journal Saturday - $20
Saturday, April 26
9 am OR 1:30 pm

And as usual, the sample was not ready for prime time when this blog post was written.  But if you love to Art Journal, then you know this will be fun.  Lisa or I create an art journal spread and then guide you through the steps we used to create it.  Yours will be uniquely yours because you get to choose colors, images and tools to use in the creation.  It's our bargain class and no one is disappointed!  We even have our very own private Facebook group for sharing what we did.

That's the schedule.. Now here are some things you need to know.
