SEPTEMBER 23 2024

OCTOBER 2024
CLASS SCHEDULE

Oh my goodness!  We were so busy Saturday.  Preview Day is so much fun and we were busy from start to finish.  Adona kept the crowd entertained as usual and Lisa guided everyone through this FREE Make 'n Take.

Catherine Pooler stamps and inks.  Plaid paper by Echo Park.  Cherri helped me adapt the design from a sample we saw.  Even though it took a little longer than usual, everyone walked out with a great fall greeting card to send to a friend or family member.

Lisa's class schedule has 3 card classes and a techniques tag class.  We haven't done technique tags in a long time and this time of year it's fun to take a breather from all the holiday happenings.  We still have an art journal sample and an additional class at the end of the month to come, but take a look at what we do have coming up.

Christmas Embossibilities - $35
Thursday, October 3
10:3 am OR 6 pm

Altenew has wonderful 3D embossing folders and so does Memory Box.  This class features 2 from each of them and 2 of them aren't exactly Christmas designs but with the proper colors and sentiments they are perfect.  Lisa has used some special dies and stamps from a lovely Christmas sentiment set by Altenew to complete all of them.  These will make wonderful cards for friends and family!

Cards to "Die Cut" For - $35
Thursday, October 10
10:30 am OR 6 pm

Lisa taught a class recently using the 49th & Market "Moonlit Garden" paper collection.  It was such a hit, she decided to use the scraps to create this beautiful set of everyday greeting cards.  They can be used for any occasion.  All dies are from Penny Black.  I do think they are cards to "Die Cut" for!

BetterPress Christmas - $35
Thursday, October 17
10:30 am OR 6 pm

We had a BetterPress LetterPress promotion in the spring and quite a few of you purchased them.  They are an amazing accessory for your die cut machines.  The press plates used with them can also be used in the Glimmer Machine by Spellbinders if you have one.  Anyway.....  Lisa has created 4 beautiful Christmas cards using press plates from Memory Box, Hero Arts, and Spellbinders.  The cards are simple and elegant.  You'll know how it all works by the time you have completed this class.  If you have not gotten a BetterPress LetterPress system, you'll definately want one when you see how easy and beautiful the images are!

Preview Day
Saturday, October 19
10 am to 4 pm
Preview November Classes
FREE Make 'n Take

If you've been one of our friends for a while, you know how much fun this day is.  We get new products throughout the month and gather them up for you to see.  Our Cash Friyay special is often featured and our FREE Make 'n Take is worth the visit.  Lisa's newest class schedule is on display and you can sign up for your favorites immediately.  Grab a friend and share the fun!

Technique Tags - $35
Thursday, October 24
10:30 am  OR 6 pm

At the time of this post, Lisa had not completed the technique tags she will be teaching.  With all the new products and techniques, she felt it was time to do another class.  That and a few people were asking for it!  You will learn some new and brush up on some old techniques that can be done with new products. Each tag you make will have printed instructions to go along with it. You'll go home with lots of new ideas.

Art Journal Saturday - $20
Saturday, October 26
9 am OR 1:30 pm

Exactly!  Photo to come....  Both Lisa and I are working on a spread and whoever finishes first will teach.  Technically it's Lisa's turn, but we both have ideas so hang tight and we'll see what happens.  As usual, this class is our bargain class and you only need a basic kit and your art journal or substrate (fancy word for "what you want to work on").

TBA - $35
TUESDAY, October 29
10:30 am OR 6 pm

Lisa has one more class up her sleeve for October.  AND NO, Tuesday, October 29 is not a typo.  Mark and Lisa's anniversary is the 31st and of course it's also Halloween so they want to celebrate AND watch the 2 littles have some Halloween fun.  Stay tuned for details to come.

That's about it for now.  I'll do a blog update and probably an email update when the class information and photos are available.  And here is a little more you need to know about classes.....
