Preview Day Review
Preview Day was fantastic! It was quiet in the morning and then took off like wildfire just after noon. We never know busy we'll be, but it's always fun. I really enjoy visiting with everyone and Lisa has lots of fun guiding the FREE Make 'n Take. This time we had a few ink choices for the main image as well as 3 stamp choices. That certainly was a lot of fun to see how everyone chose to make their cards.
It's a great card and the stamps and inks are from Catherine Pooler. The background is white embossed on a kraft cardstock. It is a wavy fan image and makes a nice statement. There was a choice of 3 paper lantern stamps with several mini images you can stamp on top of the lantern.
As usual, Lisa has a great schedule for March. We do have two classes for which the samples were not available by Saturday, but as soon as they are, I'll update this blog post and send out a special email with the photos. So let's have a look at the schedule!
All About Coffee - $30
Thursday, March 3rd
10:30 am OR 6 pm
Here is a fun collection of cards that can be used for anyone on your list. We had several requests for coffee images on cards and Lisa loves to make everyone happy. I love the bright colors and variety of techniques she's used. One of the cards even has a pocket on the front for a gift card!
Alcohol Pearls - $30
Thursday, March 10
10:30 am OR 6 pm
Lisa has done an amazing job with Ranger's brand new collection of Pearl Alcohol Inks. These new pearly colors are absolutely gorgeous. If you haven't used alcohol inks and want to learn how they work, this is the class for you! You'll create the background and then use the magic to create 4 stunning cards by adding stamps, stencils and die cuts.
Poppy Canvas - $40
Thursday, March 17
10:30 am OR 6 pm
We haven't done a mixed media canvas in a long time. Lisa has used a lovely poppy stamp set by Altenew to create this beautiful canvas using modeling paste, papers, stencils, paint, tissue and more. You'll have lots of fun creating and it will make a great addition to your home decor. OR you can give it to a friend as a gift of love and friendship.

Art Journal Saturday - $20
Saturday, March 26

Everyone loves Art Journal Saturday. The sample wasn't quite ready for publication, but should be by the beginning of next week. For $20 you can bring an art journal, canvas or surface of your choice and create your own masterpiece based on an art journal page that Lisa or Maura has created. We provide the supplies and walk you through the process we used for that page. You get lots of supply choices and no two people will create the same piece.
