November 2022

Class Schedule

We were certainly busy Saturday.  Lisa's November class schedule made it's debut appearance and from the looks of things, it was a big hit...  If you didn't get a chance to come I am sorry you missed this great Make 'n Take!

The stamps used are from Impression Obsession and are part of a Limited Edition red rubber set.  These sets come with 3 additional card ideas for you to use.  There are 10 different red rubber stamps for an incredible price of $21!  I have a couple of sets left (as of the date of this blog post) so be sure to let me know immediately if you want one.

Lisa's November schedule is filled with fantastic cards and projects. In fact, the weekend of Thanksgiving is a "Christmas Extravaganza" with 3 very cool projects.

Here's the schedule.....

Last Call for Fall - $35
Thursday, November 3
10:30 am OR 6 pm

Stamps by Penny Black and Gina K Designs are used to create these very beautiful cards.  You'll get a chance to try out the new Tim Holtz watercolor pencils.  Fall cards are perfect for all occasions and these are going to be truly wonderful for any occasion you choose to celebrate (even if it's just a quick note).

Christmas Variety - $35
Thursday, November 10
10:30 am OR 6 pm

Brand new 3D embossing folders make the backgrounds of these cards exceptional.  They can be used for any occasion but are perfect for Christmas too.  The Nativity card features a 3D style of dies from Hero Arts that is stunning when used with our gold glossy and silver glitter cardstocks.  You'll love the details in these cards and those who receive them will be so pleased to have been chosen for them.

Gel Print Playtime - $35
Thursday, November 17
10:30 am OR 6 pm

This class is always a big hit.  If you have never make prints on a gel plate, this is the class for you.  No experience needed and Lisa will guide you through some of the prints that look harder than they are.  It's fun to make these prints and then cut them up for card backgrounds or to use as collage material in your mixed media art or art journals.  This is a great class to share with a friend.

Here are the classes...

STAGGERED VINTAGE CHRISTMAS BOOK - $40
Friday, November 25 - 6 pm to 9 pm

This beautiful spiral bound book uses the Simple Stories "Vintage Christmas Lodge" collection.  There are pockets and each page is slightly longer than the one before.  There are places for you to attach photos and pockets for cards to journal your memories.  This is a book that will be a favorite on the coffee table for years to come!  This book makes a great hostess gift when filled with photos and memories of a special party or dinner you attended.

ADVENT CALENDAR BOOK - $45
Saturday, November 26 - 9 am to 1 pm

Here's a new twist on the traditional Advent Calendar.  It's "book" style and filled with 24 small boxes attached to the front & back covers that can be filled with candy, notes or whatever you think works...  It can be used for years to come in your home or the home of your grandkids!  It's easy to make so you'll be able to make more of them for everyone!

PEACE AT CHRISTMAS CANVAS BOARD - $40
Saturday, November 26 - 2:30 pm to 6 pm

This will be one of your favorite pieces of Christmas decor that can certainly be left out all during the winter months.  If you give it as a gift it will be treasured throughout the years.  It's a fun piece to make but be prepared to get a little messy (not too messy, just the right amount of messy).  This is created on a cradled wood canvas so it will be sturdy and last many years.

Art Journal Saturday will be back in January
There will be a Christmas tag class in December!
