More New Stuff

Week 3 & More New Stuff!

We've been open 3 weeks now as a rubber stamp art store and it is just more fun than a barrel of monkeys.  Every day brings something new, someone new, and I get to learn even more about rubber stamping than I ever thought I'd get the chance to do.  Lisa is ever so patient when I have questions and it is so much fun to spend time with her learning things and shopping for new products you will enjoy using.  I have always had an appreciation for her talent and now I get to enjoy her encouragement as well.

We spent a long time on Thursday getting new Tim Holtz products ordered.  I know you've been watching his blog as religiously as we have.  There is so much coming.  Thank goodness for all of us that it won't all appear at the same time.

And we got a few new things in.  Here are a couple of pics of some new stuff we got from Tattered Angels.

We picked up a few new colors of Shimmer Mists.... And we had never taken the time to look at their clear stamps but decided to give a few a try..... These stamps are incredibly large.... so large that you could get some rather large pieces of shrink out of them.  We sold out of the heart set, but have more on order and they should arrive this week.  We have ordered a few spring colors of Glaze which promises to have a lot of interesting applications on so many materials other than paper.  Can't wait to try it....  And we ordered some spring colors of the Chalkboard to try.  We understand that it is incredible on grungeboard!  YeeHaw!

We're hoping the weather isn't as bad as it's predicted to be.  If it is and Tuesday isn't very nice, call before you come out.  If it's really bad enough to close the airport..... well, we won't open either.

That's about it for now..... Until next post..... Happy Stampin'

New Magazines & Demo Day Make-It-Take-It

Seems like something new comes in every day.  Today is no exception.....  New Magazines!

Green Craft shows you new ways at looking at your "trash" (things you would otherwise throw out!)..... Stamper's Sampler is totally and completely devoted to rubber stamping (ah now that's refreshing!)..... and Where Women Create is devoted to showing you just how creative well known artists use their art studios......

And then there was Demo Day last week which produced this little gem of a Make-It-Take-It.  If you weren't able to attend I thought you just might like to see what we did....

That's it for today...... Until next post..... Happy Stampin'

DEMO DAY FUN

We sure had a fun day Saturday..... and we had loads of new stuff for everyone to see.  It was such a pleasure to see so many friends.  Everyone who came was treated to a "Thanks for Sharing our Grand Reopening Demo Day" party favor.  Here's a pic of all those goody bags waiting for people to take them home.
Lisa outdid herself with the new class schedule.  I can't wait for you to see them and I'm getting the pictures ready right now (Ok I can't be doing that and blogging at the same time..... but it's my next task - after dinner that is).  I hope the schedule and pics will be up and ready for you to see by morning.  I know you will have a hard time deciding which to take so I'm thinking you should just splurge and take them all.....

It's that time again - Demo Day.....  This year it's extra special as it kicks off a new direction for My Heart's Fancy.  A new location and a new focus strictly on rubber stamping art makes this Demo a very special event for our Grand Reopening.

It's always a barrel of fun and we always have lots of new things for you to see.  Lisa always has a great Make-It-Take-It and her class schedule is full of wonderful cards and projects for you to make.  You won't want to miss this special event.  It's FREE and is come and go from 10am to 4pm.

If you haven't yet been to our new location you'll be excited to see the new class area which is really spacious.

Here is the address and directions if you need them.....  We are located in the Fenwick Plaza shopping center which is a new center located at 165th & N Penn just 2 miles north of Memorial on Pennsylvania.

From south OKC you can take either the Hefner Parkway or Broadway Extension.  If you use the Hefner Parkway, travel on up to 164th, turn right and travel 2 miles to Penn.  At Penn you turn left and the center is one block up on your right.  If you use the Broadway Extension, get off on Memorial heading to Quail Springs Mall.  Take the Western exit, turn right on Western and travel to 164 (known as 15th in Edmond).  Turn left and travel 1 mile to Penn.  Turn right and travel 1 block.  The center will be on your right.

If you are coming from the Edmond area, you all know where 15th street is.  Get to 15th and head for Penn.  The center is 1 block north of 164th.

If you are coming in from the Deer Creek area, you all know where 164th is.  Head for Penn.  The center is 1 block north of 164th.

We don't have our sign up just yet so when you turn into the center just head towards the back.  We are at the end of the 1st building nearest 164th street.  Look for Lisa's little red Mazda and my dark gray Suburu Outback.
