December 15 Demo Day

Demo Day Antics
and
January Class Schedule

We always have a great time on Demo Day.  Saturday was no exception.  We had cookies and this fabulous Make 'n Take designed by Lisa.

Detail is tough to see in this photo.  We used our new line of Pebeo irridescent acrylic paint, the gel plate, Tim Holtz's new Kaleidoscope 3-D Texture Fade, Valentine greetings by My Favorite Things, and a heart stamp created by Art by Marlene for Studio Light.  Here's one more photo showing the detail of the Kaleidoscope Texture Fade....

It was fun visiting with everyone who came by.  Lisa has one more class to add and I'm sure it'll be here just after Christmas.  My Art Journal Saturday sample wasn't quite ready, but it should be out by the end of next week.

With all that said.... here's the January 2019 class schedule!

Sweet Valentines
Thursday, Jan 10
10:30 am OR 6 pm
$30

You'll create 5 sparkly, die cut cards including one of the most requested cards Lisa added to her card classes - the stand up card.  You'll used lots of ultra fine glitter paper, stamps and dies and a brand new paper we now carry called Curious Cosmic in both Gold Ray and Pulsar Red.

Art Journal Saturday
Saturday, January 12
10 am OR 2 pm
$15 material fee

Bring your art journal and join us as we create something new every month.  Lisa and I rotate guiding this fun class where you create exactly what you want using the sample provided.  You can copy or create your own version of the sample.  We provide most of the supplies used to create the sample.  Not only do we have lots of fun, we all teach each other!

Valentine Sussy
Thursday, January 17
10:30 am OR 6 pm
$30

This Valentine is truly a sussy!  What's a "sussy" you ask?  A sussy is a fun way to say surprise.....  and what a surprise this will be when the recipient opens it up!  This "card" opens in unique ways and carries a plethera of unique pockets and places for you to add special Valentine messages.

Demo Day
Saturday, January 19
10 am to 4 pm
Come and Go
FREE Make 'n Take
10:30 am to 3:30 pm

We offer this FREE event every month (generally on the 3rd Saturday of the month).  We have a FREE Make 'n Take which features a new technique or products.  The class schedule for the following month is on display and you can begin enrolling in the class(es) of your choice immediately.  We often have a good selection of new goods for you to browse so grab a friend and join us for all the fun.

Master Page with a Twist
Thursday, January 24
10:30 am OR 6 pm
$35

Master Page is one of our most popular classes.  Lisa offers it for many of the holiday occasions and then creates a class revolving around your creations.  This month she gives it a new spin with a new kind of black art paper.  It's fun to see how the paints respond differently to the black base.  We love this "twist" a lot......

Class to Come
Thursday, January 31
10:30 am OR 6 pm

Lisa has one more class in the works and this class should be ready to add just after Christmas.  With all the activities of December it is tough to carve out the time to get all the classes ready for January, but trust me, it'll be worth the wait.

Additional Class Details:

CLASS FEES:  Class fees are due at the time of enrollment.  Lisa takes cash, checks and sends PayPals.  If you are in the store when she is here, she can take credit cards.  Payment of class fees guarantees your enrollment in class.  "Reservations" are not considered confirmed until fees are paid.  If the class reaches capacity, "reservations" are immediately placed on the wait list and can only be added if there is a cancellation.  You will be notified if this occurs.
CLASS KIT:  You are required to bring a kit of basic paper crafting supplies.  If you are new and do not know what to bring, please call or come by and we will help you gather what you need.

I am really excited about this class schedule.  There is lots of fun to be had and lots to learn.  Our classes are so much more than just "assembly line" classes.  I hope you'll join us for one or more of the classes in January!

See you soon and remember to.....
