House Happenings

Hope you are ready for Christmas.  There are still a few things to do, but all in all, it's going to be a good one.   I am thankful that my husband and I will be spending Christmas together with both our mothers in one house on Christmas for the first time ever.  That's pretty special.  

Here is the schedule for the week:

Tuesday: 10 am to 6 pm

Wednesday: 10 am to 6 pm

Thursday and Friday: Closed for the Holiday

Saturday: 10 am to 4 pm

There will be an "after Christmas" sale starting on Saturday.  I know quite a few of you will be getting gift certificates for Christmas so plan to spend them on the bargains.  The sale will run through next week.

Pop-Up Valentine Boxes

You will make a large and a mini pop-up box card in this class.  Pictured is the larger of the boxes.  Both cards will fold up for mailing and the people who receive them will be delighted!

Class Kits:  You are responsible for bringing a kit of basic supplies to every class.  If you are new to classes and need help gathering supplies, just call or come by and we will help get it together.

Class Fees:  Class fees are due at the time of enrollment.  You may pay by check, cash, Paypal or by credit card when Lisa is present in the store.

What a fun Demo Day we had on Sunday.  In spite of having postponed it from Saturday to Sunday due to the weather, we had fun.  We missed you if you were unable to attend.  I know many were without power and some of you were stranded by tree debris.  But know that we were thinking of you, missing you, and praying for solutions if you were one of the many with ice issues.

Lisa created this really cute "treat" bag with dies and a stamp set from My Favorite Things.....  

Seriously cute and useful!  Like that cute gift tag you can make with the die set too!  We sold out of stamps and dies, but will have more in late next week if possible.

Seriously, who doesn't need one last ornament or tiny gift box?!  This set of matchboxes are made from a wonderful die by Sizzix for Tim Holtz.  The papers are from the wonderful Christmastide collection by Authentique.  These boxes are large enough for a small piece of jewelry or a folded $100 bill!  Hope I get one!

Last Demo Day of the year but not the least!  Join us for the release of Lisa's January 2016 schedule, a FREE Make 'n Take, and a whole lot of fun!  We hope to have a nice selection of new stamps for Valentine's and are planning a wonderful Valentine themed Make 'n Take.  

Class Kits:  You are responsible for bringing a kit of basic supplies to each class.  All other supplies are provided.  If you are new and need help gathering the supplies, give us a call and we will be glad to help.

Class Fees:  Class fees are due at the time of enrollment.  You may pay by cash or check in the store.  You may pay by credit card when Lisa is in the store.  If you enroll by email or phone, Lisa will be happy to send a Paypal invoice.

We had a truly fun Demo Day last Saturday.  Here's the Make 'n Take we created using dies and stamps from My Favorite Things.

It's the Saturday after Thanksgiving and I can't think of a better way to avoid the crazy shopping crowds than spending a bit of time with us creating our FREE Make 'n Take.  Lisa will release her class schedule for December and, of course, there will be new goodies to browse and buy.  Remember to leave us your Christmas wish list while you're here so we can tell all your friends and family what you want.  Bring a friend and have twice the fun!

That's the schedule.  Lisa and I know there is something here for you so don't hesitate to call, email or come by to enroll in the class(es) of your choice!

Class Fees - Class fees are due when you enroll in a class.  You can pay for your class(es) by cash, check, and PayPal. You may use a credit card on Demo Day or when Lisa is present in the store. 

Class Kits - Everyone is expected to bring a basic kit of supplies to any class taken.  It includes basic paper crafting supplies such as scissors, glue, tape, bone folder, non-stick craft sheet, heat tool, black ink pad, embossing ink pad, pencil and eraser.  If you need help gathering supplies, let us know and we will help you make sure you have just what you need.   

Halloween Swap 2015

Fall/Halloween Greeting Card Swap

For the first time ever, we are swapping greeting cards.  Create 10 Fall or Halloween cards to swap with others.  You can create any size and use any materials you wish.  Be sure to include envelopes with your swaps.  I will swap them, photo them and post them on Facebook so you can see all the cards submitted.  There is no cost to participate and no reservation required.  

Turn in your swaps by 4 pm on October 17th.  If you cannot drop them off personally on or before Saturday, you can mail them to me.  Just make sure they arrive here by Tuesday, the 20th.

Pick-up date:  Saturday, Oct 24th - Demo Day!

Not local?  No problem.  Mail them so they arrive by Tuesday, October 20th and you can be included.  I will return them to you by mail (just include a mailing label and I'll send your swaps back at no cost).

We had a lovely Demo Day on Saturday.  Lots of new things came in for everyone to browse.  Check out the really cute Free Make 'n Take Impression Obsession provided for us!

So fun for fall!  Lisa's October schedule was revealed and there are lovely selections for you to pick.  The schedule is short one class (there were some unexpected happenings for Lisa).  We will reveal that class in the next week or so.

August Happenings

August 2015

Classes

We had an amazingly fun day Saturday.  We got to visit with lots of people we haven't seen in a while.  The Make 'n Take was a huge success.  Here's a "phone" photo of it.

  

We used a variety of dies and a stamp from My Favorite Things. The background colors are Distress Inks.

SUMMER SWAP: We also began giving out templates for our Summer "Fishy" swap.  If you would like to participate, come by for a set of templates.

CLASS FEES are due at the time of enrollment.  Cash or checks are accepted and Lisa is now able to send Paypal invoices if you are unable to pay your fees in person.  Credit cards may be used IF Lisa is in store to process them.

CANCELLATION POLICY:  Refunds or credit will be issued for cancellations received 2 full days prior to class.  You must email Lisa or call the store during business hours.  IF you are unable to attend for any reason, you may gift or sell your class to a friend.
