 January 2023

Class Schedule

Wow!  What a great Preview Day we had on Saturday!  It was so much fun to visit with all of our friends.  We saw some we haven't seen in a while which is always a treat.  It was a very joyful time.  Here's the cute Make 'n Take that Lisa created for us to share.

The stamps and the circle die (with tiny dots just around the edges) are from Catherine Pooler, the embossing folder from Sizzix and we used the Tim Holtz Speckled Egg distress pad to highlight the embossing.  The background paper is from Carta Bella and we sold out completely.  I checked to see if we could get any more of it, but it is completely gone.

Lisa has a very fun schedule for January.  She starts it off with a sweet Valentine card class and ends up with gel printing.  There's a lot in between so get ready to have some fun!

Valentine Time - $30
Thursday, Jan 5
10:30 am OR 6 pm

What a great selection of Valentine's!  Each one is different and special.  There are die cuts, pockeys, fancy folds, pockets and embossed items. One gift card holder doubles as a cute door knob hanger.  You'll have fun creting these cards and those who receive them will be so honored!

Winter Wishes - $30
Thursday, Jan 12
10:30 am OR 6 pm

January is going to be cold in Oklahoma this year....  why not send out some snowy, wintery cards that can be used for any and all occasions?  Lisa has used the "Snowed In" paper collection by Simple Stories to create this great collection.  There are cards suitable for men, women, and kids.  Don't be shy!  You know you want to make these!

Mixed Media Mini Journal - $35
Thursday, Jan 19
10:30 am OR 6 pm

Lisa is bringing back this wonderful mini journal we created back in about 2015.  I gave mine away to Joanne Sharpe because she loved it so much and I really wanted to make another one for me.  Lisa is so kind that she said "Sure!" when I asked her to put it on the schedule.  This is a mini master page project that makes the best little "traveler's journal".  The books inside will be filled with a variety of page styles and can be removed and replaced when filled with notes and lists.  The book is small enough to fit in most purses so you can take it with you wherever you go!

Preview Day - FREE
Saturday, Jan 21
10 am to 4 pm
Come and Go
FREE Make 'n Take

Come preview the February classes and enroll in your favorite.  Enjoy our FREE Make 'n Take and browse the newest products we have received.  Grab a friend and share the fun!

Gel Printing Fun Returns - $35
Thursday, Jan 26
10:30 am OR 6 pm

Everyone loves to gel print!  It's been a while since we have offered it, so get ready to have some fun.  We'll be getting a batch of interesting new stencils by Carolyn Dube from Stencil Girl Products for you to try.  I think you can do some really interesting things and Lisa will show you a few tricks that you can do with them.  It will help you see stencils in a whole new light!

Art Journal Saturday - $20
Saturday, Jan 27
9 am OR 1:30 pm

January's Art Journal page will be a continuation of my Color Wheel series.  If you took the first Color Wheel Art Journal class, you'll want to add to your skills, but it isn't necessary to have taken the original class.  I hope to have the sample done before Christmas so be on the watch for an email or facebook update.

That's the schedule for January.... Here are a few more details.
