One of my favorite guest artists is Dina Wakley. She has a very relaxed and encouraging style in her teaching that will warm your heart and leave you feeling artistic. She became a Ranger Signature Designer last year and we love, love, love all her stamps, stencils and paints by Ranger. Dina brings almost everything you need for class so you only need to bring a very few items. Join us for one or all of these exciting classes. You will be glad you did!
A Face in the Crowd

We live in a world of different faces. this class is about celebrating those faces in the crowd, and recording them in an expressive and thoughtful way. This class is not about making perfect or pretty faces, it's about making distinct faces. Dina will show you her favorite ways to scribble and draw expressively. You'll explore various art techniques and learn how to incorporate your drawings into mixed-media pieces to create unified, meaningful art. You will practice in your journal and then make a large work of art to show off your skills! There will be an hour and a half break for lunch.

A Cut Above

Ready to make art that's a cut above? Come to this class where we'll explore cuts, folds and pockets as a way to add variety and interest to your artwork. We'll work with stamps, stencils, and acrylics to make unique journal pages. We'll focus on bold colors and images as well.

Watercoloring with Acrylic

Acrylic paint + a little bit of water = magic! Join Dina as we add water to her acrylic paints to create wonderful art magic! We'll make organic backgrounds and she will also show you how easy it is to paint in stamped images to get a watercolor look. Easy Peasy! We'll make gorgeous artful tags to highlight all of the techniques.

Puddles and Pockets

Join Dina for some creative journaling where we'll be making puddles and pockets. She will show you one of her favorite new techniques she calls "ink throwing". Ink and acrylic paint will combine to create unique and dynamic backgrounds that you will love! We'll use her new rubber stamps sets and stencils to create layered tag with ink and paint. We'll tuck these tags into pockets on the page. Come and play with Dina's stamps and stencils and have lots of fun!

ENROLLMENT is now open. Enrollment is limited to 20 students in each class. The store will be closed to the public during the classes in order to provide you with the best class experience possible. You may pay by cash, check, credit card (in store only) or Paypal.

Cancellation policy: Full refunds are available for cancellations received by Thursday, August 6. If you are unable to attend your class(es) after that date, you may sell or gift your class(es) to a friend. If we have a wait list (not guaranteed) and can fill your seat, we will gladly refund your class fees.
