Make-It-Take-It

DEMO  DAY  FUN

We had a great time Saturday and if you were unable to come, you missed a fabulous Make-It-Take-It.  Lisa designed a very simple memory project that you could use as a mini scrapbook cover or as a framed piece.  It is very quick and you could easily make a large number for a special occasion in an afternoon.  Here it is.....
The base card is stamped in Sepia on Robin's Egg Blue cardstock using Tim Holtz's new Book Plate stamps.  You get 2 sizes in the set.  We used the large one which is just a bit smaller than 5x7. Be sure you "age" the sides with our favorite "vintage photo" Distress Ink pad.  Then stamp a small frame stamp from a clear Glitz set with an embossing pad and emboss it with our Golden Espresso embossing powder.  It has just a bit of glitter and really sparkles.  You can cut out the center and insert a small photo of your choice (we used a vintage image from one of our Vintage Image CD's) and attach it to the bookplate.  Then stamp the "memories" saying at the bottom in Black Versafine.

When Lisa showed me what we were going to do I kept thinking it would be perfect for a fragment frame I had been wanting to make for some time.  So I went home and made it.....

And here it what they look like together!
I like it!  And if you're interested we will be happy to put the frame on the class schedule so let us know......

Class schedule will be posted by late Tuesday evening or early Wednesday morning.  There are some great projects and a few Easter/spring card classes to take.  Be sure to stop by and sign up....

That's it for now..... Until next post..... Happy Stampin'!
