MOTHER'S DAY CARD

Presenting the "Oh My Gosh, I Forgot to Make It" Mothers Day Card

Lisa created this make-it-take-it card for a sweet gift show she participated in over the weekend. We thought you might enjoy this quick idea and if you haven't made your Mother's Day cards yet, you can just make this one!

Supplies needed:

  • Versamagic ink pads in Tea Leaves, Purple Hydrangea & Pretty Petunia
  • Yellow brush marker
  • Embossible Black ink pad
  • Lavender cardstock or cards
  • Impression Obsession Clear Set called Floral Duos II
  • Wood mounted "Happy Mother's Day" stamp by Impression Obsession
  • Wood mounted "Polka Dots" stamp by B Line
  • Clear embossing powder
Ink "Happy Mother's Day" stamp in black at the top center of the card. Emboss in clear. Ink silhouette 5 petal flower stamp in Pretty Petunia and stamp in the center (oh, come on now....just eyeball it) and then both outer edges. Then ink it in Purple Hydrangea and stamp in between the three flowers. Next, ink the silhouette leaf in Tea Leaves and stamp three times randomly between flowers on top and bottom keeping in mind you will be trimming lower edge away to expose card interior. Emboss in clear. Color center of flowers with yellow marker. Cut away bottom edge to create die-cut effect. Ink "Polka Dots" stamp in Pretty Petunia and stamp on bottom of inside of card. If you are not using cardstock with a white back, stamp image on an appropriately sized piece of white cardstock and attach to inside of card. Voila! You have just made a Gorgeous Mother's Day card!

We have put together a card kit containing the clear set, Versamagic dewdrops, wood mounted Mother's Day stamp, and 5 cards w/envelopes. Card copy and instructions will be included.
