This canvas is back by popular demand! Lisa just has this mad desire to use the backs of canvases and this is no exception..... A wonderful addition to your home decor!

Also a repeat by popular demand..... You will just love making these tags using Character Constructions, Artful Illusions and Tim Holtz products.  You will also get to work with the wonderful Distress Stains which are so versatile.

Fancy Flowers - June 7, 9 & 10

Wonderful cards made with flowers.... four different ways in fact!  You will use dies, papers, ribbons & glubers to make perfect flowers for cards.

Artful Dwellings - June 14 & 17

Ok, this time you'll work the front side of the canvas.  Lisa got this idea from one of the magazines and went to town!  So fun & so quick with a new Tim Holtz die.....

Demo Day

Memorial Day Holiday

We are taking a holiday this weekend and will be closed from Friday, May 27 through Tuesday, May 31st.  We will reopen Wednesday, June 1st.  It's a long long weekend for us.  Hope you will have a wonderful weekend as well!

Demo Day

We always have a good time on Demo Day.  Last Saturday was no exception....

We had Smash Books for 60 seconds.  For those of you who did not get one..... we are truly sorry.  We had no idea that they would be so popular.  We placed a huge order on Saturday night so if you want to be notified when they come in, just email me at myheartsfancy@gmail.com

Lisa really put together a wonderful make-it-take-it using the Distress Inks and a new product she discovered called Goosebumps.  Goosebumps sprays onto your project and when it dries it has the look of a solid layer of clear embossing.  Really cool, no heat required (although we did heat them just so people would not have to carry out a wet project).  We sold out of most of the Distress Inks and Goosebumps, but expect to have a full supply by Thursday.

We sold out of Best Glue Ever and Embellie Gellies, but should have them back in stock when we get back from Memorial Day weekend.....  These products are really fantastic and if you haven't had a chance to watch the video......  here is the link..... ScraPerfect Best Ever Glue .

I have the photos done, but not edited.  It should be here on the blog by tomorrow evening.  The classes are wonderful as usual and you will want to take all of them.  Some of this months classes are being repeated due to popular demand, so if you missed out on the first one, you have a second chance!

That's it for now.....  Until next post..... Happy Stampin'!

Super Summer Schedule

This summer is really shaping up for us...  We have been working hard to find some new and exciting things for you to do around here and we have arranged to have 3 super guest teachers this summer!  If you are on our email list you will get more details but I wanted to let you know here how it's shaping up.....

One of our wonderful friends (and customer), Sherry of Studio Pashnada, is a wonderful mixed media artist.  I myself have purchased a piece of her art because it spoke to my heart and my heart said "YOU MUST HAVE THAT PIECE OF ART".  Well, how can you argue with that?  Anyway.....  Sherry has been working with beeswax for a very long time and has really perfected the art of it.  Many of you have expressed an interest in it and Sherry came to mind as the perfect instructer.  Sherry's class will be listed on the next Class Schedule (which will be available next Saturday on DEMO DAY).  The class will be limited to 6 due to the intense amount of personal attention you will receive.

We have had such a great response to the Artful Illusions unmounted stamps created by Joni.  Imagine our  surprise when she showed up on our doorstep a few months ago on her way home to Wichita..... imagine our intense excitement when she mentioned that she would be happy to put us on her schedule for a weekend of delightful classes!  That being said.....  Joni has agreed to spend the weekend of July 21-23 with us teaching 3 or 4 incredible artsy classes.  Thursday the 21st will be a "Meet & Greet" open house and classes will be held Friday and Saturday.  Classes and Sign Up information will be forthcoming in an email within the next week or so.

We know how much you love Memory Box papers and stamps.  We have received great response to the Cardstock and Project of the Month creations we get from them.  We always get questions about how Dave colored this or that and although his book is quite instructional, it never hurts to get that personal touch of hearing it straight from the horse's mouth....  And that being said, Dave has worked us into his travel schedule for the summer and he will be teaching two classes for us on July 30th.  One class will cover colored pencil techniques and one class will cover water color pencil techniques.  Classes will be limited to 12.  If more than 12 are interested, he is willing to teach a 2nd class if it fills.  Watch for details by email this week.

Oh, yes.....  Demo Day is Saturday (the 21st)...  We will have all the details for these classes available then as well.  Put it on your calendar.....  FREE from 10am to 4pm.  See you then!

That's it for now.....  Until next post..... Happy Stampin'!

Pick of the Week - May 11, 2011

We've been waiting for several months for this wonderful product.  We finally got them and think they are super fun.....  Glubers are giant glue dots and you can use them to create some of the most wonderful giant flowers.  Take a look at this video.....

This product is really fun and versatile.  As you can see, you can make very pretty flowers large enough to use for a number of fun projects.....  wearable pins, hair clip/band embellishments, shoe & purse decorations and of course, you can use them to enhance your cards and art projects!

That's it for now..... I'm going off to play with my package of Glubers..... Until next post..... Happy Stampin'!

Pick of the Week

This week's Pick of the Week ......  Somerset magazines!

Catch Up Issue
Always a great treat the catch up issue comes out once a year..... We sold out, but got more.  It's filled with fabulous cards that didn't get in the Stamper Sampler but were too good to forget.....

Somerset Studio
A fabulous mix of techniques and mixed media ideas.  This issue has some really very cool articles that you will fall in love with.  I know that I haven't been able to put it down since I picked it up this morning.  (well, ok ..... I stopped long enough to write this post).

Where Women Create
This magazine has been an inspiration to lots of us.  How do they keep those studios spick and span?  Get a good look at how other artists (famous and not) organize their studios.  Just looking at them gets me inspired!

We have limited numbers of copies of all these magazines and if you're looking for a back issue of them, we have some so don't hesitate to ask.......

That's it for now..... Until next post..... Happy Stampin'!
